Mrs. Marcus

Dear Families,

We had a great time making challah today. They look wonderful & made my car smell delicious on the way home. Each challah is safely bagged and in my freezer, and I'll defrost them and bring them to the temple on March 1 for our class Shabbat dinner.

We practiced our song for our March 1 service, Hinei Mah Tov. If you know that song, please help your child practice it in the next couple of weeks. (See the lyrics below.) We won't see each other again until the service. We also got to show off our "Derech Eretz" dance today.

Your child may have brought home "Caring Hands," which show several ways in which we're kind to others and others are kind to us. If your child's hands didn't make it home, it's because he/she chose to hang it on our hallway bulletin board. Please check out the board the next time you come upstairs. Also, please ask your child to tell you what it means to be a "mensch." He/she may remember our story, Estie the Mensch.

If any of you took photos today, please email them to me so I can send them out to the class. Thank you.

We will now be on vacation until March 3, but please mark your calendars to be at our potluck and service on Friday, March 1. Also, if you haven't done so, please click this link and sign up for the potluck:
