Dear Families,

Today we continued the work on our Shabbat Box components, preparing to celebrate Shabbat at home. We practiced our "hamotzi" prayer & made beautiful challah covers. Please ask your child to explain how it was made. Enjoy the attached video of our students showing off.

Please keep the challah covers, the sand candlesticks, and the Kiddush cup that your child brought home in a safe place. Next semester, our class Shabbat Box will come to your house so that you can celebrate together.

After a special snack of latkes from the brotherhood, clementines, and pretzels, we joined the rest of the CJL for the Consecration service. In case you didn't take a photo, I've attached one of our students under the chuppah. I hope you also enjoyed the Bible Players' entertainment.
